Purpose

A tool, platform or compute dependency used to develop, operate or evaluate an AI system.

Role

ISO/IEC 42001 treats tools and compute used around AI systems as resources that must be identified and governed. This is a Resource/Dependency profile and a specialisation of Governed Resource.
